I’ve met this beautiful soul way back 2018. She happened to be my boardmate. I felt uncomfortable to approach her but as time pass by, we get to know each other better.
She was a first year student that time taking up Civil Engineering. She loves cooking more than solving Math problems.
One time, I asked her why wasn’t she took up HRM instead. She just answered me with a smile. So, I didn’t bother to ask that question again.
This woman taught me some unusual recipes that I’d never cooked or eaten yet.
One of these is the TUNA SPANISH PASTA(Philippine-Sardines Inspired)

Have you heard about this before?
Well, if not let me give you recipe, procedures and some tips how to cook this savory and affordable pasta.
INGREDIENTS:
½ kilo strand pasta/ spaghetti
2-3 cans 555 spanish style sardines
4-5 riped tomatoes
5 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoon ground pepper
Cheese (optional)
Salt to taste (optional)

How to prepare TUNA SPANISH PASTA?
1. Cook pasta according to packaging procedure.

2. While pasta is cooking, slice tomatoes into half and remove the seeds. Slice into strips.

3. In a sauce pan, heat oil in a low fire. Add tomatoes. Sautè until tender.

4. If the tomatoes are cooked, add 2-3 cans 555 spanish style sardines. Mix well and seasoned ground pepper and flavouring, simmer.

5. When pasta is already cooked, drain using colander, fork or tong. Anything avaible in those three is probably okay.

6. When pasta were already transferred to a container, pour the sauce on top and mix well.

7. Lastly, garnish Philippine- Inspired Sardines Pasta with cheese and black pepper.

As our parents always say, the best tip in cooking is LOVE.
Love is the secret ingredient in every cooking. When there’s no love, even if your garnishing looks delicious the food is a waste. But even if the garnishing is poor but made with love, it looks and tastes delicious.
I hope this recipe helps you to ease your cravings.
Thanks to my friend and my sister by heart who shared this recipe to me. I owe you a lot Winnie.
Buon Appetito!
Good day Chewies!

Many may wonder why I am writing this blog.
I choose to blog about foods probably because I love eating though it is not visible in my figure because I am petite 😅.
Aside from the love of food, I want to explore more in the world of foods. Trying to create some unusual and edible recipes. I had a background in bread and pastry because I took it as my major TESDA course in post secondary. But in the field of cooking, I am still improving my skills and I will also share some recipes that my friends and relatives taught me here in my blog.
Enjoy and Godbless us all! ❤
